Now it makes sense to me when Mom told me about this scene in a movie that always made her laugh. The line: “what do we do with Pop!” while this old man is right in front of these two people. Out of the blue, she would suddenly bring it up and laugh extensively. So, when I would see Mom sad or down, I would just say that line and she would begin to laugh.
