My great grandfather was Lucius LaFortune. All his newspaper clippings, old photographs, gun, etc are really something.

South Bend, Indiana--more famous for football--was the scene of a notorious bank robbery in 1934 that featured an all-star cast of Depression Era outlaws who eventually met their demise after temporarily getting away with the loot. Clavin chronicles the ignominious end for those once famous miscreants--Dillinger, Pretty Boy, Baby Face, and Ma Barker. It's a hell of a read about a hellish cast.
