Wonderful story bro that I never knew. I guess I was too young. But I have memories of my own. I saw Sis crying while walking home from elementary school (up the block) after Mom (while crying in front of the tv) was telling me that JFK was shot and killed. These episodes is why I never really drank, especially liquor. Memories of Dad and bro abusing of alcohol scared the crap out me growing up. I never saw Sis abuse alcohol until she was married in her own home. We can both agree on why. Now with the onset of diabetes (thanks Dad), I’m glad I didn’t or I’d probably be following Sis to the next level of life.

No doubt you're right, being careful about booze has several benefits and, hopefully, it means your condition won't get more serious. I miss Nancy a lot.
